Dr Michael Khoo is a nationally recognised Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist with extensive expertise in the imaging and diagnosis of complex orthopaedic, spinal and musculoskeletal conditions. He is a Consultant Radiologist at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, one of the world's leading centres for specialist orthopaedic care, where he has been a Consultant since 2012.

Dr Khoo's clinical practice focuses on advanced musculoskeletal imaging, including sports injuries, spinal disorders, musculoskeletal oncology, complex joint reconstruction, peripheral nerve pathology, prosthetic joint complications, paediatric orthopaedics and spinal deformity. He is particularly experienced in the imaging assessment of bone and soft tissue tumours, sarcoma, revision arthroplasty, infection and challenging diagnostic cases referred from across the UK.

He holds key leadership roles within the hospital's multidisciplinary services and serves as Lead Radiologist for the Complex Revision Hip Service, as well as Co-Lead Radiologist for specialist multidisciplinary teams in upper limb disorders, complex joint reconstruction, prosthetic joint infection and spinal deformity. His practice also includes a broad range of image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including biopsies, joint injections and spinal interventions.

A graduate of Imperial College School of Medicine, Dr Khoo achieved First Class Honours in Biomedical Sciences before completing specialist radiology training in London and a prestigious Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.

Dr Khoo is widely published in the fields of musculoskeletal radiology, orthopaedic oncology and advanced imaging techniques, with more than 40 peer-reviewed publications in leading international journals. He is a regular reviewer for major radiological publications and has presented his work at national and international scientific meetings throughout Europe and North America.

Combining specialist expertise, academic excellence and extensive multidisciplinary experience, Dr Khoo is regarded as a trusted authority in musculoskeletal imaging and the management of complex orthopaedic conditions. He takes direct instructions through solicitors and also works through a number of specialist medicolegal agencies.
