Mr Marco Sinisi is a world-renowned Consultant Peripheral Nerve Surgeon, recognised globally for his expertise in the diagnosis and surgical management of complex nerve injuries. 

Born and educated in Milan, Italy, he graduated from the University of Milan in 1997 and trained in neurosurgery at the prestigious Institute of Neurosurgery of Milan. Early in his career, he focused on peripheral nerve disorders at the Carlo Besta Neurological Institute, developing advanced surgical techniques that would define his professional trajectory.

Mr Sinisi has been a consultant for over twenty years and, in 2011, was appointed Head of the Peripheral Nerve Injury Unit at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, London. The unit is the UK's leading centre for the surgical treatment of peripheral nerve disorders, receiving complex referrals from across the UK and overseas, and serving as a major training hub for London orthopaedic rotations. 

Mr Sinisi runs a busy clinical practice treating both adults and children, focusing on the surgical repair and ongoing management of severe nerve injuries and tumours. Notably, he currently oversees the care of over 2,000 children who have sustained brachial plexus injuries at birth.

Alongside his NHS role, Mr Sinisi maintains a thriving private practice at The Wellington Hospital. He holds an academic role as Honorary Associate Professor at University College London and has published extensively on peripheral nerve injuries and nerve tumours, continues to research and lecture internationally, and is widely recognised as a global authority in his field.

In addition to his clinical and academic work, Mr Sinisi has over fifteen years of experience in medicolegal practice. He provides expert advice on breach of duty, causation, condition, and prognosis, taking direct instructions from solicitors and working with specialist medicolegal agencies. His current claimant-to-defendant ratio is approximately 60:40, and he has successfully completed numerous joint instructions.

Known for his technical skill, innovative surgical approach, and patient-centred care, Mr Sinisi combines surgical excellence with empathy, teaching, and mentoring, leaving a lasting impact on both patients and the wider field of peripheral nerve surgery.
