Mr Mohamed Salhab is a Consultant Oncoplastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Breast Surgeon at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, a position he has held since 2014. He completed his specialist surgical training on the Yorkshire Higher Surgical Training Programme, including advanced oncoplastic breast surgery fellowships in Paris and Brussels. He also maintains a private practice at The Yorkshire Clinic and Spire Elland Hospital, West Yorkshire.

Between 2016 and 2025, Mr Salhab served as Breast Surgery Specialty Lead and Clinical Governance Lead at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. During this period, he led a high-volume breast unit providing comprehensive breast screening, diagnostic, surgical and reconstructive services to a large regional population. The service receives more than 4,000 new symptomatic referrals annually and treats approximately 350 new breast cancers each year.

Mr Salhab undertakes in excess of 300 breast procedures annually and has extensive experience in the diagnosis and surgical management of both benign and malignant breast disease. His specialist interests include breast cancer surgery, oncoplastic breast surgery, immediate and delayed breast reconstruction, therapeutic mammoplasty, correction of breast deformities, fat transfer procedures, and cosmetic breast surgery.

Mr Salhab maintains an active academic and research portfolio and is Research Lead at the Bradford Breast Centre. He is the local Principal Investigator for a number of national clinical trials in breast cancer and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations relating to breast cancer biology, epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment. He is also a Senior Lecturer and Examiner at the University of Leeds.

Mr Salhab is actively involved in postgraduate surgical education and training. He serves as an educational and clinical supervisor for junior doctors and specialty trainees and is a recognised national oncoplastic trainer, teaching advanced breast reconstruction and oncoplastic surgical techniques to senior fellows and trainees.

Mr Salhab accepts instructions from solicitors and medico-legal agencies and provides independent expert opinion in relation to breach of duty, causation, condition and prognosis in matters concerning breast surgery and breast disease.
