Profile

Miss Dana Touqmatchi is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with extensive experience in both NHS and private practice. A graduate of Imperial College London, she obtained a BSc (Hons) in Medical Sciences with Obstetrics and Gynaecology before completing her MBBS medical degree. 

She subsequently undertook specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology across leading London teaching hospitals. Miss Touqmatchi further strengthened her academic credentials by completing a Master's degree in Surgical Education at Imperial College London.

Since 2016, Miss Touqmatchi has held a substantive Consultant post at The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, where she manages a broad spectrum of obstetric and gynaecological conditions.

She has extensive experience in all aspects of general obstetrics and gynaecology, including antenatal and postnatal care, high-risk pregnancy management, emergency obstetrics, benign gynaecology, colposcopy, and minimally invasive gynaecological surgery. She is particularly experienced in the management of complex pregnancies and obstetric emergencies and is recognised for her meticulous clinical judgement and patient-centred approach to care.

Alongside her NHS role, Miss Touqmatchi runs a busy private obstetric practice at The Portland Hospital in central London, one of the United Kingdom's leading private maternity hospitals. Across her NHS and private practice, she delivers more than 200 babies each year, providing comprehensive care throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period.

Miss Touqmatchi has a longstanding commitment to education, training, and patient safety and is actively involved in the teaching and supervision of junior doctors and healthcare professionals. She regularly participates in specialist courses, conferences, and clinical governance activities to ensure that her practice remains at the forefront of modern obstetrics and gynaecology.

In addition to her clinical and academic work, Miss Touqmatchi has undertaken medico-legal practice for the past six years and has completed Bond Solon expert witness training. She provides independent, objective, and evidence-based expert opinion in matters relating to obstetrics and gynaecology, taking direct instructions from solicitors and also working through a number of specialist medicolegal agencies.
